At Azaleas Store, we take pride in delivering premium plants to gardening enthusiasts worldwide. While we carefully nurture and package each plant for its journey to your garden, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges may be necessary. Our policy is designed with the same care we give to our fragrant gardenias and delicate Japanese maples.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

  • Plants must be in their original condition (alive and undamaged)
  • Original packaging should be retained when possible
  • A valid proof of purchase is required
Note: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on plants that show signs of improper care after delivery (including wilting from lack of water, frost damage, or pest infestation). Fragrant plants and groundcover plants that have been planted are also non-returnable.

Return & Exchange Process

  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, photos of the plant(s) in question, and reason for return/exchange.
  3. Receive Instructions: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return authorization and shipping instructions.
  4. Ship Items Back: Package plants securely using our recommended methods (we’ll provide guidance).
  5. Processing: Once received, we’ll inspect the plants and process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.

Refund Information

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item(s). Please note:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except for incorrect/damaged items)
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error
  • For exchanges, we’ll ship the replacement once the return is processed (additional shipping may apply)

Special Considerations for Live Plants

Because we specialize in premium live plants including azaleas, gardenias, and Japanese maples, we recommend:

  • Inspect plants immediately upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours for any shipping-related issues
